Outsell Lands on Inc. 5000 for Third Consecutive Year; Innovative Analytics Driven Digital Marketing Solutions Drive Steady Growth for Company
Outsell has been named to the prestigious Inc. 500|5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for the third consecutive year. Outsell ranked #2955 nationally, #50 in Minnesota, and #47 in the Minneapolis metro area.
The list represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. The companies on this year’s list report having created over 520,000 jobs in the past three years, and aggregate revenue among the honorees reached $241 billion.
Outsell was named to the list based on a three-year revenue growth rate of 115 percent. The company’s total revenue in 2012 was $13.4 million, a more than 50-percent increase over 2009. In 2008, the company had just 29 employees; by the end of 2013, it will have approximately 100.
“Not all the companies in the Inc. 500|5000 are in glamorous industries, but in their fields they are as famous as household name companies simply by virtue of being great at what they do. They are the hidden champions of job growth and innovation, the real muscle of the American economy,” said Inc. Editor Eric Schurenberg.
Outsell’s easy-to-use Digital Engagement Platform allows automobile manufacturers, agencies, marketing associations and individual dealers to share in the development of brand-consistent, analytics-driven marketing programs that drive superior sales results via personalized communications orchestrated across email, SMS, mobile and chat.
“We are pleased to see our name on the Inc. 5000 list once again,” said Mike Wethington, Founder and CEO of Outsell, LLC. “It’s an honor to be listed among the fastest-growing companies in the country as well as right here in Minnesota.”
Outsell recently earned two additional accolades: Wethington was honored by his undergraduate alma mater Saint John’s University as Entrepreneur of the Year; and Outsell’s Director of Insights Dr. Jennifer Bunner was selected by Direct Marketing News as a 2013 “40 Under 40” award winner, honoring up and comers in the marketing industry.
